Ahmet Ağıllı was born in Ankara in 1989. Ağıllı graduated from the Department of Painting at Çankırı Karatekin University in 2014, then began a master’s degree in the Art and Design Program at the same university. Working in a pop art vein and also drawing on collage, Ağıllı makes paintings about the subconscious, imagination, and popular culture. Ağıllı has taken part in group exhibitions in Türkiye and abroad; the artist’s first solo exhibition opened at Galeri Kambur in Istanbul in 2023. Ağıllı works in a studio in Ankara.
