Devabil Kara is an artist working in printmaking and painting. In the 1990s Kara produced prints using the serigraphy technique. In recent work Kara uses everyday porcelain plates as painting surfaces; in these plates, which draw on childhood memories, Kara follows the traces of personal and collective memory. Kara's exhibition "Mitik Hafızanın İzleri," curated by Erkan Doğanay, was shown at RoomeART Gallery in Fethiye in the summer of 2025.
