Dilşad Akçayöz is a sculptor who works mostly in marble. In figurative sculptures, Akçayöz treats the body not only as a physical entity but as a space in which one questions who one is and where one belongs. Combining the hardness and the fragility of stone, Akçayöz examines how the idea of perfection is constructed through social pressures. Akçayöz’s exhibition of these works, "Kusur-suz," opened at Summart Art Center in Istanbul in 2025.
