Emine Nur Yılmaz Arıkan is an artist and academic working in graphic arts and painting. Yılmaz Arıkan is a lecturer with a doctorate in the Department of Graphic Arts at Selçuk University's Faculty of Fine Arts. Yılmaz Arıkan's research addresses the relationship between color and emotion, and semiotics; Yılmaz Arıkan has published on paintings by Mehmet Başbuğ, Osman Hamdi, Nuri İyem, and the painters of the Onlar Group, on animated films, and on AI-generated images. In 2016 Yılmaz Arıkan took part in the EuroExpoArt fair.
