Erdem Oğuz is a painter and academic. In the Painting Program at Hacettepe University, Oğuz completed a master’s degree on global reality in 2007 and a Proficiency in Art degree on the concept of multiple artistic identity in 2014. Oğuz works at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University and has published articles on appropriation, postproduction, the mass production of art, site-specific art, and Clement Greenberg’s formalism.
