Leyla Kodaman is a painter and academic. In 2014, Kodaman completed a doctorate at Gazi University, Fine Arts Education Program, with a dissertation relating Picasso’s borrowings from famous works to the work of painting studio students. Kodaman works at Süleyman Demirel University and has published on vegetable oils used as thinners in oil painting, basic art education, Alberto Giacometti, and Yalçın Gökçebağ.
