Pınar Baklan

Pınar Baklan is a ceramic artist. Baklan graduated from the Department of Ceramics, Faculty of Fine Arts, Hacettepe University, in 2007, and completed a master's degree in 2011 and a Proficiency in Art degree in 2018 at the same university. From 2009 to 2021, Baklan worked in the field of ceramic and glass design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Erciyes University. Baklan has held solo exhibitions in Kayseri, Ankara, Izmir, and Istanbul. Baklan also makes works that transfer the optical illusions of Op Art with a brush onto hand-formed surfaces, and today works independently in a studio in Marmaris.
