Raife Tokyürek was born in Adana in 1990 and in 2015 graduated from the painting program of Çukurova University, Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education. Tokyürek works with painting, sculpture, photography, and video; the works question the relationship human beings form with nature and space. In 2015 Tokyürek opened the solo exhibition "Kafes" in Adana. Tokyürek's work was shown in the exhibitions of the State Painting and Sculpture Competition and the Şefik Bursalı Painting Competition; in 2019 Tokyürek took part in the 2nd Sada International Interdisciplinary Art Symposium. In 2022 Tokyürek won first prize in the Lüleburgaz Municipality's painting competition on the theme of migration. Tokyürek works in a studio in Adana.
