Raşit Altun is a painter who works in acrylic on canvas. In 2001 Altun graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Education, Department of Visual Arts Education, and began working as a visual arts teacher. Altun works in a studio in Eskişehir and has taken part in more than a hundred group exhibitions; Altun's fifth solo exhibition opened in 2018 at Sanko Art Gallery in Gaziantep. Altun's paintings question the origins of humankind and foreground a shared humanity rather than differences.
