Sami Kurt

Born in Bursa in 1994, Sami Kurt attended Bursa Zeki Müren Anatolian Fine Arts High School and then studied in Kemal İskender's studio at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Painting, graduating in 2019. Since 2022 Kurt has been pursuing a master's degree in painting at Dokuz Eylül University Graduate School of Fine Arts. Kurt mostly paints figurative portraits and compositions in oil on canvas. Between 2017 and 2019 Kurt took part in Galeri Soyut's group exhibitions in Ankara, and in 2019 in the exhibition of the 2nd Sada International Interdisciplinary Art Symposium; Kurt held a solo exhibition, "Sessizce Haykırmak," in Istanbul in 2018 and another at Gala Art Gallery in 2024.
