Savaş Kurtuluş Çevik

Savaş Kurtuluş Çevik obtained his bachelors degree at İnönü University, his master degree at Hacettepe University and his doctorate in Fine Arts at Gazi University. Savaş examined several studies about art, education of art and non toxic printmaking in over 30 countries. Savaş presents at conferences, attends international workshops with more than 100 group exhibition abroad. Thanks to his articles and global presence, Savaş Kurtluş Çevik’s expertise in non-toxic printmaking techniques is the pioneer of the transition process to a non-toxic method in the Turkish printmaking education. As one of the founders of the Cappadocia Art Initiative, Savaş Kurtululş Çevik is also the constituent of the Art Museum of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University and participated in the foundation of the Painting Department. Savaş is also an academic member in the same university.
