Serdal Yerli is a painter and art educator. Yerli graduated from İnönü University's Faculty of Education in 2002, completed a master's degree at Cumhuriyet University and, in 2019, a Proficiency in Art degree at Akdeniz University's Institute of Fine Arts. From 2002 to 2010 Yerli worked as a teacher for the Ministry of National Education; Yerli is a faculty member in the Art Education Program at Pamukkale University's Faculty of Education, and has been an associate professor since 2022. Yerli is the author of the book “Türk Resminde Meslek Konuları” (2017), and in 2021 received an award in the Gaziantep Millî Kahramanları Portreleri Painting Competition.
